Hosted by Ryan Agoncillo, the show displays a variety of performances from singers, dancers, actors, musicians and comedians, to contortionists, impressionists, jugglers, ventriloquists and magicians. Imortal is a sequel to the 2008 ABS-CBN fantasy series, Lobo. The previous series also starred Angel Locsin opposite Piolo Pascual. However, Lobo story-wise only included wolves without any reference of vampires. Although Locsin must be playing an almost identical character, it is revealed that her character in Imortal will be the daughter of her character in Lobo, which would explain the resemblance.
